"The first impression of the first Portuguese impressions gives me some conclusions. First of all like 2008 and 2009 the Portuguese team is serious also in their preparation work as well in the stage without exaggerations like we have seen in the past. Second, the song was not my favorite when selected in the national final but Filipa made me change my mind only by singing today. Third, my fear that this entry will be similar of the 2009 UK entry has gone although many can see some resemblance with the piano. Anyway the vocal performance seems quite impressive, Filipa is talented although she can improve and secure what I already believe: a ticket to the final." por Fotis Konstantopoulos
"I also preferred to see Catarina Pereira today but seen the draw and how things turn up, Filipa in number 14 is the best for this Eurovision edition. Vocally this girl is outstanding. Now my only fear (as they didn't use the final outfits) is the clothing thing. If they manage to dress up like artists they will rock towards the final." by Eva

“The Portuguese entry is sung by Filipa Azevedo and is called Ha dias assim. Now we have light bulb strings hanging at the back of the stage, a grand piano to the left and three backing singers to the right of Filipa. The colour scheme here is purple to pink.
This is a well thought-of composition and Filipa does a lot of vocal acrobatics while delivering her song, which will probably appeal to fans of more demanding traditional Eurovision ballads.” by Juha Repo

"To use an empty word, Portugal is “inoffensive”. The vocals are good on the first couple of run+throughs but then become a bit waily on the top notes. The stage set-up is simple with the piano and backing singers, and lights very bright in places." by ESCDAily team

"Purple is the stage colour here, a very classy looking set. Long columns of ball strips on stage which then looks like a classy curtain. Filipa is joined onstage by a pianist and 3 female backing singers . There is a candle on the piano. Her vocals were great and the camera work was mainly fine as there is not a lot of movement on stage. The song ends with a closeup of Filipa's outstretched hand. Overall, a good rehearsal, vocals got a bit more strained in the last performance but Portugal should be satisfied with that rehearsal." by Peter

"Filipa isn't in her stage outfit but the arrangement is the new one in a slightly lower key and with the backing vocalists. There is thankfully no inter-action with the pianist and Filipa looks down the camera. On some run-throughs Filipa is note perfect but on others she is too shrill. This is a nice engaging performance, but I'd like to see the final version and hear Filipa nail it a few times before I decide how it will do. I'm sitting on the fence on this one. I think it's either Malta or Portugal, but not both and right now it's Malta." by Keith
